The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things That Must Improve

Small changes, big difference. Please?

Walkers are lurking. The Walking Dead's return is upon us, and things are about to get a whole lot messier for Rick & the survivors. They're in a great deal of trouble, but the show itself could stumble if some crucial errors are made once again in the second half of Season 6. On a good day, The Walking Dead is one of the finest shows around. It has everything. But you'd be well within your rights to file AMC's cash cow under the 'frustrating' category, with a handful of irritations that have plagued the series for years in some instances. Season 6B could be a make-or-break run of episodes for TWD with the all-important ratings plateauing and even falling at some points in the latest season. It's still a monster show, with a diehard fanbase that will remain steadfast for several years to come, but here are 10 things that need to improve if it is to compete in the golden age of television.

10. Distracting Storylines

Glenn's 'death' was a shocking moment. It was stunning because nobody saw it coming. However, once he returned, it meant that the whole storyline was nothing but a distraction away from the main plot. The 'dumpster' scene was such a massive talking point that we became so engrossed in wondering about Glenn's potential return that it took us away from the real problems at Alexandria. I'm not for a second suggesting The Walking Dead should give up with big storylines, but it would be nice if they could handle them better and keep the show in perspective.
