The first half of the season was criticised for jumping between characters, omitting others from certain episodes and simply forgetting about the rest for long stretches of time. In Episode 9, we saw every character worthy of a few seconds of screen time in their individual predicaments. Even the likes of Tobin showed up at the church, Eric stood and fought through the walker herd, and we found out that Heath, Spencer and Aaron all made it to a safe zone as opposed to simply dissolving into thin air. We saw every single character fighting for the same team with the walkers as the main threat. Proper, old-school Walking Dead.
