6. Paula's Boyfriend

One of the more blatant points on this list is the fact that Paula's new world 'boyfriend' is in fact Donny. Near the beginning he calls her "babe" and once he's bleeding out, she says he's just someone to warm her bed. Brutal. It's an indication that there's not a lot of permanency in the new world. If he dies, he dies, Paula will move on. If he survives, he survives. She's all about staying in the game, and when Maggie's pregnancy is revealed, she's in disbelief. While it was heavily implied, it could be easy to miss Paula/Donny's relationship due to the contempt they seem to have for one another in the name of staying alive.
