2. Daryl Dixon

Daryl was completely AWOL from Now, but more frustratingly, he has been missing from most of the season. When he has been present, he's pretty much just been riding his bike, leading the zombie hoard away from Alexandria. That may be a calculated move by the show's producers and AMC, who don't want to risk over-exposing the breakout star of the show, or have him overshadow the series, something he came close to last year, but at the same time, his absence is clearly felt. If Beth was the heart of the group, Rick the brains and Glenn the soul, then Daryl was very much the will of the unit - able to go the extra mile, and do what had to be done. Without him, things just don't seem the same. He needs to get back to fill that role, and be back at Rick's side, reeling him in when necessary. Thus far, almost no one else has been able to.
