The Walking Dead Season 6: 7 Reasons That Character Is Still Alive
3. Nicholas Was Out Of Ammo
Heres an observation that was pointed out by some astute viewers. In the scene in question just before Glenn and Nicholas cease firing and climb the dumpster, and as they do so we see Glenn lower his gun and switch to his knife. At the same time, two very audible clicks can be heard, indicating that Nicholas himself has also ran out of ammo. If there were no more bullets in his gun, how did Nicholas manage to shoot himself while atop the dumpster? Some have speculated that the death scene was a hallucination, and that would actually fit in with the way Nicholas was zoning out throughout the entire ordeal. This could just be a simple continuity error on behalf of the production team, or it could be a subtle hint to those of us watching closely that none of this really happened.
