The Walking Dead Season 6: 7 Things You Need To Know About Negan

2. When He'll Be Turning Up

Negan Walking Dead
Image Comics

Fans have been waiting quite some time for Negan to be introduced, especially since the Governor was killed off and a truly great big bad has been missing. Producers have so far been coy on exactly when he'll be turning up, but with Alexandria Safe-Zone coming into the show and the end of season 5, and set to play a much bigger part this year, he can't be too far off. Indeed, thanks to a casting call revealed on The Spoiling Dead Fans, it will happen sooner rather than later:

"[ORIN] 30s to mid 40s. A physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men. He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he's a brilliant strategist, he's pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful id, that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporise people. He's truly one of the strongest personalities ever..."

It's nothing new for codenames to be used in casting calls, and reading that character description is just like reading a brief description of the character Negan. The episode that's scheduled for? 6.16. The season 6 finale. Yes!
