The Walking Dead: Season 6 Comic-Con Trailer Breakdown

30. Run, Rick, Run

The trailer begins with a scene of Rick alone, running down a deserted street and looking slightly injured while doing so. Over the top of this plays dialogue from a season 3 conversation between Rick and Morgan, where Rick tells him "You can come back from this," and Morgan says: "I'm a killer Rick." This is presumably an insight into Rick's mind at this point, as the roles have been slightly reversed. Morgan is now back with him, but as a calmer, more collected person who is less-willing to kill, while Rick shot a man dead in the season 5 finale, in front of Morgan. Clearly that will have a bearing on the pair's relationship this season (as indicated in the next scene). As for why Rick is running, it could be that he's running away from something, but there's no sign of what's behind him. So maybe instead it's that he's running to something?
