The Walking Dead: Season 6 Comic-Con Trailer Breakdown
Rick Grimes is getting his Walter White on, and things don't look good for Daryl.
The Walking Dead panel at San Diego Comic-Con was one of the most anticipated of the whole event, and it's safe to say it didn't disappoint. Scowrunner Scott Gimple was there alongside many of the main cast, including Rick Grimes, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, and Lennie James. Together they teased a lot of snippets about the upcoming season, and the highlight was what they brought with them: a four-minute trailer for season 6. It features all of the drama and action you'd expect from a Walking Dead trailer, with presumably a lot of clever editing to throw you off track as well. It doesn't appear as though we get a look at The Wolves - teased at the end of season 5 as a potential big bad - and Gimple did actually say that the Wolves would play an important role, just "hopefully in a way you don't expect." Similarly there's still no sign of Negan, the hugely-anticpated character from the comics who the producers have promised will be along at some point, but that doesn't necessarily mean season 6. Given the ratings it seems the show is going to be around for a lot longer, so the feeling may be there's no need to rush such a major introduction. What we do see builds on the ending of season 5, where Rick began to take more control in Alexandria, and offers plenty of teasing glimpses that should makes fans very excited and a little worried for what happens when it returns in October. Here's a look some of the key moments from the trailer, and what they might mean going into the sixth season.
