27. Another Promise Of Washington?
"Sorry for being an asshole earlier. Come to Washington. The new world's gonna need RICK GRIMES". For a long-time it seemed as though the show's end-goal was going to be Washington, what with Eugene and his promise of finding a cure there. Season 5 pulled that rug from under the feet of the audience and the characters, with Eugene's reveal that he didn't actually know anything, but not before a route had been plotted on the map, given to Rick by Abraham with the words above marked on it. That map re-appears in the season 6 trailer. Rick (and his rather bloody hand) are looking at the map, but why? Is it to find a new location to head to, or will the show once again be back on the road to Washington at some point during season 6?
