12. Daryl Anti-Climax
Episode 15 ended on a cliffhanger that left the world freaking out. It was highly unlikely that Daryl would be given such an unceremonious end, but it was still an eye-opening moment that set up the finale nicely.
However, there was no grand reveal. There was no reason given for why Dwight had to shoot Daryl, there was no reference to the incident, and there was barely any sign that damage had been done.
Daryl looked bloodied, but he didn't appear to be dying. Despite such a long time to explore that cliffhanger, the show quickly skipped onto throwing him into another terrible situation. It just felt weirdly underdeveloped and cheap that Daryl's predicament wasn't addressed.
