7. No Hilltop
What was the point of Jesus? What was the point of Gregory? What was the point of the Hilltop? They introduced the concept of Negan, but other than that point in the right direction, they were horribly under-used.
There's no doubt the characters and location will be used again in Season 7, but they simply vanished for the final quarter of Season 6, despite showing signs of promise.
Jesus could be a fantastic character, but fans are yet to see him really get a chance to shine. He has been wasted so far, and the fact that neither Jesus nor the Hilltop were featured in the finale is a major letdown.
