Speaking of smoking - thank you Morley cigarettes for the most tenuous bridge of all time there - there was another interesting pop-culture reference in The Walking Dead this season.

In New Best Friends, Daryl and Richard hid (and then fought) behind a truck, on which was depicted a rather familiar Western scene. That's because it's the truck that was used in the Burt Reynolds classic Smokey and the Bandit. Like The Walking Dead, that movie was primarily filmed in Georgia, and out its hero in a cowboy hat.
