The Walking Dead Season 7: 4 Ups & 5 Downs From 'Service'

Ups...

4. More Of Michonne

There wasn't a tonne of Michonne in this episode, but there was some - a major improvement on the rest of Season 7 so far. Michonne is one of the series' more interesting characters at this stage, and one whose response to Negan should be quite powerful.

Such is the case here, as, unlike Rick, she can't just lie down and take it. It's a reaction that fits what we know of her, and it's better than seeing another leader completely broken down.

Michonne is barely contained here, and seeing the torched mattresses towards the end was a nice touch. If the spark inside her wasn't already lit, it definitely is now, and that should be a very good direction for the show to go in with Michonne.
