The Walking Dead Season 7: 5 Ups And 2 Downs From 'New Best Friends'

2. The Wonky CGI

Admittedly not a huge problem in a narrative sense, but the CGI used to create the backdrop for the junkyard in this episode is rather terrible.

It happens on a couple of different shots of Rick when he climbs to the Up Up Up (both before and after his tussle with Winslow), and each time it's so obviously fake it's incredibly distracting and almost laughable.

Granted Shiva was also in this episode, and probably eats up a lot of the budget, but you'd think the show could still do better than this attempt at showing the scope of the junkyard world. It really takes you out of the episode, which is inexcusable for a show like The Walking Dead.
