The Walking Dead Season 7: 9 Questions We're Asking After 'The Day Will Come When You Won't Be'

What does the future of the series hold after the death of [REDACTED]?

The Walking Dead just answered its biggest question.

After months of waiting, wondering, and speculating, the Season 7 premiere did what should've been done seven months ago and showed us who Negan killed.

Of course, they still managed to drag it out an extra 20 minutes or so for good measure, but finally got round to business. Lucille quenched her bloodthirst in a gory, grotesque few minutes that killed off not one but two of the show's stars, and will likely have a big impact on everyone left breathing.

Negan was victorious, Rick completely broken, and the status-quo massively changed. I wasn't a big fan of every decision they made or even the episode overall, but there's no denying it's a big event - or at least should be.

After all, this should be the beginning, not the end, and the ramifications could potentially play out for the rest of Season 7 and beyond.

The Walking Dead may have answered the question everyone was screaming, but it's left a lot of new ones in its wake.

9. What Does Negan Do Now?

In killing two members of Rick's group, tormenting the rest of them, and completely breaking Rick himself down, Negan has established himself as top dog in this world.

He's the man in charge, so what does he do next? Now that he's got what he wants, what does he do?

Obviously we're going to see him turning up at Alexandria to collect his bounty, and running the Saviours compound, but this was his big moment.

In terms of plot and character (not the show's two favourite things to focus on), where do the writers and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (whose performance is one of the most enjoyable parts of the series right now) take the Big Bad?
