The Walking Dead Season 7: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

4. Maggie

One of the mistakes The Walking Dead made in its seventh season was not making Maggie a much more centralised character, given that Glenn was the major loss in the premiere. We should've really got to see her reaction and means of coping with that, but instead she disappeared until the fifth episode.

After that, however, she continued the upwards arc that started last year, moving quickly along the path that heads towards her being leader of the Hilltop Colony.

She's proved that she doesn't need Glenn to be a compelling character, and honours his legacy in the season finale by leading her people into battle, and standing alongside Rick and Ezekiel as one of the three main community figureheads.

Sidenote: is she ever going to have that baby, or at least start looking pregnant?
