The Walking Dead Season 9: 10 Big Questions We Need Answers To

One of the more exciting elements of the ninth season has been the arrival of newcomers Magna, Luke, Connie, Kelly and Yumiko. Magna in particular boasts a strong personality, which makes her a bit antagonistic at times, but it's certainly a change from the typical scared-stiff-survivors-looking-for-a-home storyline that we're used to seeing on this show.

All of these newcomers are interesting, and they've proven themselves to be capable fighters, which is something all of the settlements are in dire need of right now considering the impending threat of The Whisperers (and perhaps Negan, depending on which side he chooses to be on).

It's likely that the newbies will figure into the Whisperers storyline somehow, and with weaponry skills like theirs, they could well prove to be a real asset in the wars to come. In the meantime, they'll have to get used to their new surroundings at Hilltop, and it'll be interesting to see how they adapt to the new environment. Magna doesn't like being ordered around, so she could prove a problem for the leaders.
