2. Daryl & Beta's Fight

As a result of this expertly-handled pacing, Chokepoint's final act is pretty spectacular - specifically in regards to Daryl coming face-to-face with Beta.

With Beta being one of the show's new bad guys, it was inevitable that he would face off with Daryl at some point, as the beloved archer has taken over as protagonist of the series since Rick Grimes' departure. However, given how The Walking Dead has let us down so many times in the past when it comes to battle sequences - or lack thereof - hopes weren't exactly high for this one, which is why it ultimately proves to be a pleasant surprise.

The battle sequence itself is incredibly well executed, as the two foes grapple with each other, hoping to achieve victory - or, more appropriately, achieve superiority.

While Ryan Hurst and Norman Reedus excel here, the real credit goes to editors Alan Cody and Brian G. Addie, as their quick cuts aid in keeping the momentum of the brawl alive until the very end.
