The Walking Dead Season 9: 5 Major Questions After 'Adaptation'
1. What Has Happened To Alden & Luke?
Despite having been on the show for a short time, The Whisperers have already caused a significant amount of damage to the communities. They've got everyone terrified half to death - if you'll excuse the pun - and they've murdered one of Hilltop's finest fighters. You'd think they'd have slowed things down a bit, but the evil antagonists are hellbent on causing as much damage as possible.
The closing moments of Adaptation saw Alden and Luke - who had just bonded moments earlier - surrounded by the walker-wearing individuals, who then proceeded to ambush them.
We've yet to know what exactly happened after Alden and Luke were apprehended, but it's likely that it wasn't pleasant. Perhaps these two will act as the viewer's conduit into the world of The Whisperers in that they'll be taken to meet the group's leader?
Considering these two relative newbies show so much promise in regards to the future of the series, let's hope they're not killed off just yet. Mind you, this is TWD we're talking about here, and the writers seem to be rather fond of bloodbaths as of late.
