The Walking Dead Season Finale: 10 Ways It Massively Disappointed
4. Lack Of Logic
Probably the biggest complaint with this episode was the stunning lack of logic displayed by the residents of Terminus. If the plan all along was to capture Rick and his people, it made zero sense for them to have them drop their weapons, submit to being searched and then allow them to rearm themselves. There was absolutely no reason for the charade. If it turns out that Gareth and his people did not want that to happen and only did so because they were threatened first by Rick, then that will make no sense either because there is far too much evidence that points to the contrary. Understandably, having the snipers herd them toward the train car was most likely done to provide a harrowing scenario for our group to face, but it came off more like a cheap plot twist and a way to shoehorn in a quick tour of Terminus. On the positive side, the few seconds when Rick, Michonne and Daryl walk toward the container and Carl is left standing alone were incredibly tense, as fans thought to themselves that they might actually kill the younger Grimes. The fact that it never feels like any character is safe from the chopping block is part of what makes the show so enjoyable. But that also led to the next entry on this list.
