The Witcher: Casting Upcoming Characters

Eredin is a character unlikely to appear until that seventh season Hissrich mentioned, or perhaps ever so slightly earlier depending on what is skipped.

Whenever he shows up, Eredin will need someone who can give him a creepy sense of villainy, one that will really make Ciri and the audience’s skin crawl as well as seeming able to fight rather than just talk.

Riccardo Scamarcio is that someone. He is an expert at playing unnerving villains, ones who are generally competent but have that underlying unhinged element to make them seem just that extra bit of unsettling too. This would work masterfully with Eredin, especially if he were only to make some brief appearances to throw Ciri off.

He also does look like he could be some sort of elven warrior, all that’s missing is the ears.
