9. Dr. Burks

Appeared In: Seasons 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 Last Seen: Assisting Scully and Doggett in their investigation of the Indian mystic at the center of Season 8's Badlaa. Why He Should Return: As a pretty minor supporting character, Burks may not jump out as someone that would immediately come to mind when thinking about who should return. He only made a handful of appearances, but his presence was always a welcome one, and bringing him back to assist Mulder and Scully in the investigation of another X-File would go a long way in tying the original run of episodes with the newer ones. It never hurts to have a familiar face around, and his inclusion would be a fun connection for longtime fans.
