The X-Files: 10 Things We Learned From Mulder And Scully Meet The Were-Monster
9. The Entire Cast Looks Like They Were Having A Blast In This Episode
In short, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson looked to be having the time of their lives with the material writer Darin Morgan gave them in Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster. So did guest star Rhys Darby. Duchovny looked more alive than he has in years, and Anderson looked like she was about the break out in fits at several points. The outtakes of this episode alone must be priceless. There were more laugh-out-loud moments than you could shake a stick at, and the episode managed to cover all sorts of territory from touching to absurd. This is the sort of engagement you really wish the cast had maintained back in the later part of season six, and throughout most of the much maligned season seven, of its original run. Hopefully, it spells good things ahead for the revival.
