4. The Kim Manners Tribute Was Touching

Director Kim Manners was a huge part of the original X-Files run. Manners, who had worked on shows like Charlie's Angels and 21 Jump Street, signed on to the show in its second season as a director and producer, and during its run was nominated for four Emmys for Outstanding Drama series. After the show went off the air, Manners went on, as many from the X-Files crew did, to genre stalwart Supernatural. Sadly, he passed away from lung cancer in 2009, at the age of 58. During the graveyard scene in Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster, Mulder is seen standing by a gravestone with Manners' name. date of birth and death, and the phrase "Let's Kick It In The Ass" - something Manners was reportedly quite fond of saying.
