The X-Files Revival: 10 Things We Learned From The Season Finale
8. Mulder Can Still Throw Down
When the Smoking Man summons Mulder, presumably to save him, he does so by way of a goon who looks somewhat like an Alex Krycek clone. Sadly, Nick Lea does not return in My Struggle Part 2, but someone else does: kick-ass Mulder. For all his jokes and complaints about age and "not doing stairs anymore" earlier in the season, Mulder definitely holds his own in the fantastic fight sequence that ensues. It's some of the best action from the shortened season ten, and it's a shame there weren't a few more action sequences during the revival, because this one was very, very entertaining. Of course, as he so often does, Mulder winds up looking worse for the wear - but for once, he wins a fight.
