Appeared in: Season 2, Episode 13 - "Irresistible" and Season 7, Episode 7 - "Orison" If there was a character on The X-Files that could be described as "pure evil" it would be Donnie Pfaster. A necrophiliac/death fetishist, we first meet Donnie when he's desecrating corpses at a funeral home he works at, and we later find out he has been digging up graves, but as Mulder speculates when he and Scully are brought in on the case, he's likely to expand to taking real, live victims and killing them to fulfil his sexual needs. The actual sexual/fetish actions involving Pfaster are mostly just hinted at, but it's creepy enough even when it's happening off-screen. Nick Chinlund plays him to perfection, and in the end, Pfaster was such a memorable villain is his first outing (where he's eventually captured after attacking Scully) that he was brought back several years later, for season seven's "Orison" - which sees Pfaster breaking out of prison with the help of a holy man who believes he's doing "god's work." Only ever seen as a man in "Irresistible" in the second season, in "Orison" he is at one point clearly seen as demonic - though it could be interpreted as symbolic rather than literal (however John Shiban, a producer on the show, stated it was an intentional decision to have him actually be a demon).
