9. Brad Dourif (Season 1, Episode 13: Beyond The Sea)

On The X-Files: Originally airing on January 7, 1994, Beyond The Sea sees Scully torn between skepticism and grief following the death of her father as she and Mulder investigate a death row inmate who claims to have psychic abilities that warrant a stay of execution. Brad Dourif plays serial killer Luther Lee Boggs. Most Memorable Moment: The souls of his victims surround the terrified Boggs as he is marched into the gas chamber and executed. How Brad Dourif Made It Big: Dourif had a name for himself prior to his appearance on The X-Files, already nominated for an Academy Award for his role in 1975's One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. It was not until his performances as Grima Wormtongue in The Lord Of The Rings trilogy in 2002 and 2003, however, that Dourif came into the spotlight in the 21st century, and his television role as Dr. Amos Cochran on HBO's Deadwood from 2004 - 2006 won him much critical acclaim.

Fiction buff and writer. If it's on Netflix, it's probably in my queue. I've bought DVDs for the special features and usually claim that the book is better than the movie or show (and can provide examples). I've never met a TV show that I won't marathon. Follow on Twitter @lah9891 .
