The teaser to Founder's Mutation, the season's second episode, features the grisly, self-inflicted demise of genetic researcher Dr. Sanjay, who, up until this moment, has been hearing hideous, screeching noise (think really bad tinnitus) and a voice telling him to look into some top secret data. So he does the obvious: doesn't tell anyone about his condition, runs out of a meeting room, locks himself in a secure room with physical access to the company mainframe, gets to the data, and as security tries to break into the room, takes care of the noises first by piercing his ear drum - then fully embedding the letter opener pictured above in his grey matter. Maybe a Q-Tip to check for blockages and some prescribed ear drops next time? Well, he doesn't have a next time, but still...
