19. Frankenstein's Monster?

This is what you look like after being hit with a missile shot from a helicopter. In the season nine finale of The X-Files, we saw what we thought was the end of the Smoking Man, as his flesh burned from his bones after he was discovered hiding out in a cave in New Mexico by alien super-soldiers. Oddly enough, while that plot line seems to have been dropped - the whole alien replicants, colonization thing - the Smoking Man's injuries remain very real. It's almost as if everything that has been passed off as a smoke screen in season ten actually was happening... In any case, seeing the Cancer Man sewn back together like Frankenstein's monster was one of the biggest WTF moments of the season. At least he's not a clone.
