3. Rob Lowe And Ryan Murphy's Project
On 5th April, Rob Lowe posted a picture of himself dressed as Joe Exotic and holding his dog as Exotic held tiger cubs with the caption "Rob Exotic. UPDATE: Ryan Murphy and I will be working on our version of this insane story. Stay Tuned!'
Ryan Murphy is best known for his work on the show Glee but has proven he can do darker stories as well as he co-helmed American Horror Story on FX. Murphy has proven himself as a talented writer and with Lowe as Exotic, whatever this project turns out to be could be very successful.
While there are currently no definitive ideas of what this project may be, Lowe and Murphy are in talks and have worked together previously on the show 911: Lone Star, which Lowe starred in and Murphy co-created and executive produced. There is not much else to be known about the project at this stage.
Much like McKinnon's project, Lowe and Murphy would likely want to capitalise on the buzz that the Netflix docuseries has created and will hopefully have the project out by this time next year, although it would be a tight turnaround.
