9. Trigon
Trigon is a hard character to rank, simply because he spent most of the season off-screen.
As a presence, he was everything the show needed him to be, with the mere mention of his name spreading darkness and terror wherever it was said. And that feeling of dread certainly increased whenever he surfaced.
As he was only a major presence in one episode, it's tough to judge him. At times, he seemed a little bit one-dimensional, while at others, he felt like a well-rounded character. That said, Seamus Dever's authentic performance ensured that we were paying attention at all times.
He just needs a little more screen-time. Who knows, maybe he'll get that in Season 2.
