Ups...

3. Improved Fight Choreography

After the episode introduced us to Hawk and Dove, it gave us a glimpse into their past and, more importantly, their history with Robin, as it transitioned into a flashback. This flashback featured the two heroes in action, taking out a gang of thugs, before they received assistance from the Boy Wonder.

What followed was an incredibly impressive fight scene, accompanied by Foo Fighters' cover of Kids In America, in which Robin, Hawk and Dove all worked together to neutralise the threats. From roundhouse kicks to double teaming, there was a lot to love about the epic brawl, with some sequences, such as Dove wrapping her legs around Hawk's neck and spinning around in mid-air to take out two thugs, resembling some seamlessly executed dance choreography.

After the premiere's dodgy (and violent) fight scene involving Robin demolishing an entire crew of bad guys, this was a major step forwards for the show - and an incredibly enjoyable one at that. Hopefully the rest of the fights can follow in this one's footsteps.
