Titans Season 2: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Fallen'

1. The Beginnings Of Nightwing

Titans Season 2 Dick Grayson
DC Universe

Dick's imprisonment led to him sharing a room with three prisoners who were refugees from Corto Maltese - three prisoners who were planning to escape when being transferred back to their home country. One of them, Luis, explained to Dick how, in spite of the odds being stacked against them, he had faith in their plan because he believed in Alazul - a beloved hero to his village who lives between the moon and the stars and flies down to save those in need.

Though Dick scoffed at the claims, reminding them that Alazul wasn't there for them when they were imprisoned in the first place, it was hard not to notice how Alazul's symbol was that of a bird - a bird that just so happened to look exactly like the iconic Nightwing logo from the comics.

When the time came for transportation, Dick came to their rescue and helped them escape. Thus, in a way, "the bird that comes in the night and saves people" showed up after all, and his name was Nightwing.

Get ready folks, Nightwing is upon us.
