Titans Season 2: 4 Ups & 3 Downs From ‘Jericho’

2. Completing The Story

Well now we know. After two seasons of intrigue, mystery and a ton of broodiness, we finally know why the Titans fell apart.

'Jericho' was that final chapter in the book of the original Titans and it was highly effective in adding all the backstory we needed. And now we know why this feud with Slade is so personal, why Dick blames himself for Jericho's death (he didn't actually kill him) and, even more so, why he had turned into that heartless monster that took pleasure in maiming people throughout Season 1.

Titans has spent two seasons teasing us with the hell of the past and now, after some incredible foreshadowing, narrative reflecting and exceptional flashback episodes, it has finished the story that it set out to tell.

Though it likely won't leave the past behind until it finishes the season, it's laid its cards on the table now and it's incredibly exciting to think of where it will go next.
