5. Conner, Eve & Krypto Reunite

Admittedly, it was quite surprising to see Dr. Eve Watson show up again so soon after her debut appearance last week but, given that it looked like we'd never see her again after Mercy Graves caught up with her, this writer is perfectly happy to admit that this surprise was a pleasant one.

Her rescuing of Krypto was a welcome subversion of our expectations as it tied up his return to Cadmus pretty quickly, but it also provided the show with a quick and believable method of reuniting the pair with Conner.

On that note, the mother-son relationship between Eve and Conner is surprisingly nuanced for only being two weeks old, and it's hard not to smile (or tear up) at the pair's heartfelt reunion.
