4. Choppy Editing

Before we get into what the episode itself actually did wrong, here's something that managed to take away from some of the most enjoyable scenes.

Some of the editing towards the beginning made the finale rather hard to follow, as it would suddenly cut to scenes and angles that didn't line up with what had happened in the previous one. This created a rather jarring effect - one that was particularly evident during Nightwing's arrival when we don't actually see him turn to face his fellow Titans so, for a moment, we're not even aware that he's that close to them or that he's even talking to them face-to-face.

It's not a major issue as it didn't affect most of the episode, but the fact that it temporarily took this writer out of its most pivotal moment is a sign of how off-putting it can be.
