3. Spider-Man 2003
Spider-Man gets in touch with the 21st century in the 2003 version where the series is shot in a CGI 3-D cel shading which gave the show a futuristic Tron-style finish which worked well. Another reason why I enjoyed this series so much is that the tone was darkened and it was a Spider-Man getting his hands dirty on more than one occasion which was a fresh approach to previous carnations; deaths werent implied or assumed they were shown.\ This new gritty style of Spider-Man used the voice talents of Neil Patrick Harris, Rob Zombie and Eve to name a few, and also used original characters, which honestly I didnt like. I am all for using original characters in TV series it can keep a show fresh but, this was an overload. The Gaines twins where basically Mysterio and Talon was Black Cat, I personally didnt see a reason to change them, but all in all very enjoyable. 2.
Spider-Man 1994 I grew up with this show and it definitely a highlight of my childhood. 4 years on the air, 5 seasons, 65 episodes and millions of pounds worth of merchandise all because of this show. The show took Spider-Man to the next level in every way possible it stayed true to the comics, gave us great character development and action scenes which could excite and older audience but still be kid-friendly , and displayed almost every villain from our friendly neighbourhood mythology. Spiderman also had cameos from the X-Men, Iron man, Blade, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, Captain America and the Punisher which for any kid is the next best thing to Santa Claus.
