7. The Same Broom
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUl6PooveJE This scene gives us a window into Trigger's entire philosophy - basically, as he tells Rodney, he looks after his broom. Indeed, as he proudly declares, he's had the same broom for twenty years - albeit with seventeen new heads and fourteen new handles. There's also a nice contrast here between the characters of Del Boy and Trigger. While Del was constantly on the pursuit of making his fortune and striving for bigger and better things, Trigger is a man who's happy with his lot in life and shows pride in his work. Existential debate aside, it's a very funny sequence that hints at what makes this great man tick.
