9. Donna Hayward
Donna Hayward started out as one of the most interesting residents of Twin Peaks, then became less relevant as the show went on. It's a bit of a shame. As Laura Palmers best friend, Donna was clearly one of the characters most affected by her murder. She was torn up over the loss of someone so close, and over her failure to save her. One of the show's most poignant moments came from her breakdown upon hearing the news of her Laura's death in the pilot. Donna's later episodes revolved around her relationship with Lauras secret boyfriend James. Unfortunately, this dragged her into one of the show's worst storylines where she had to rescue him from an evil seductress outside of Twin Peaks. Keep it in the town! However, by the end of the series, you were left with an intriguing cliffhanger where it appeared that town tycoon Benjamin Horne is actually her father and not Doc Hayward. Understandably, she did not take this news too well. So what is she up to now? Did she accept the Horne lifestyle? Did her and James stay together and sing cheesy songs in their living room? Well, as Fire Walk With Me exposed, Donna has a bit of a bad side to her, and perhaps started trailing dangerously in Lauras steps. While actress Lara Flynn Boyle didnt return for the prequel film, she may be chomping at the bit to get involved with season three. Her recent career choices have, well, been a bit odd (but not in a cool Twin Peaks sort of way) with starring roles in Hansel And Gretel Get Baked and Cougar Hunting.
Andrew Soucek
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
