Twin Peaks: 10 Characters That Must Return For Season 3

6. The Man From Another Place/Mike

As revealed in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, the Man From Another Place exclaimed €œI am the arm€ which is believed to have meant he is the amputated arm of the spirit Mike. Mike is the body of the one-armed spirit who took over the body of a shoe salesman, and set off to stop the nefarious Bob. Very complicated, but it totally works in Twin Peaks. It feels like a timeless battle between the two, and we could definitely use a few more rounds. Actor Al Strobel, who played Mike, hasn€™t appeared in any TV shows or films since 2001 (of course he was credited as the "One Armed Man" in that last performance), so perhaps he's done with his former profession. Neither IMDB or Wikipedia even have an age listed for him. He is a bit of a mystery. Hopefully he€™s open to some more Twin Peaks, though, as there still so much left of the character to explore. Michael J. Anderson played The Man from Another Place, which was the iconic role of a short man decked out in a red suit dancing in bizarre movements while speaking backwards. He was an immediate hit, as there was nothing like him to ever appear on TV. You can imagine he'll show up again in some of Cooper's dreams, guiding him, confusing him, and hopefully doing a little dance for him. Let's rock!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
