Umbrella Academy: 10 Things Season 2 Must Include

While The Umbrella Academy is an ensemble show, some of the cast shone brighter than others. Ellen Page is clearly the most accomplished name of the group, while Robert Sheehan as been a scene stealer since Misfits. That, combined with the fact their characters Vanya and Klaus were the driving force behind the plot, meant they suffocated the rest of the cast at times.

It felt like Diego especially got the short end. He had links to the police, had clearly led a strange life, plus he had an interesting storyline with his mother, but he felt starved of screen time. There were a couple of episodes in Season One which focussed mostly or wholly on a single character, and Season Two needs to follow suit.

Luther and Alison had their own arc in the first season (another reason why Diego had to feed off scraps), and surely that will be under the microscope even more in Season Two.

With new characters confirmed too, there's going to be even more competition for minutes, but The Umbrella Academy should be able to stitch them all together well enough.
