V Wars Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs

Downs...

3. It's Occasionally Hard To Follow

V Wars Danika
Netflix

Though the pacing is actually pretty good (more on that later), you are occasionally thrown out of the story by asking questions that you aren't really supposed to.

Whether it be a new character's introduction without context, a previous character who is just finding out about something that has already been in the news for days or the fact that you aren't ever really told about the fact that Dr. Swann's wife Jess is actually his son's step-mother, there are moments that temporarily draw focus from the plot and leave you scratching your head.

Again, it's only occasional as your questions are subsequently answered, but the somewhat odd format can leave you a little confounded at times.
