For much of season one, much hype was built around Rollo's will-he-won't-he betrayal of brother Ragnar, who, after murdering Haraldson, is the new top dog in town. This, Rollo cannot abide by. Tensions simmer and soon Rollo joins forces with the devious Jarl Borg, announcing his intentions to turn on Ragnar at the end of series one. Season two picks up where its predecessor left off, and in 'Brother's War', we finally see the two family members go head to head - well, sort of. Rollo just can't bring himself to kill his own flesh and blood - but has no issue killing several of his own comrades before reaching this decision. What follows is a tender family moment (well, as tender as it could be back in those days) as Rollo delivers one of the best pieces of dialogue from the series to date, explaining that he merely wanted to step out of his brother's shadow, yet found no sunlight when he did. Aww! Now reunited, the family feud is a distant memory, but still makes our list of best Vikings moments.
