1. Ezekiel

When the producers finally introduce Negan into the show, another fan favourite won't be far behind. Ezekiel leads a group of survivors known as The Kingdom who oppose Negan and the Saviors with an almost religious fanaticism. The war between the two factions inevitably draws Rick's team of survivors into the mix, making Ezekiel a powerful ally who has had a huge impact on the dynamics of the group.

As one of the most memorable characters from the comics, Ezekiel could quickly become a fan favourite among viewers as well. Some may worry that the leaders fascination with his pet tiger (!?) Shiva could drag the show down into the realms of caricature, but it's also hard to deny that watching a tiger rip through a herd of zombies could also be one of the coolest moments ever shown on TV. It would be a gamble of course, but the producers would be foolish to ignore such a rich and charismatic character as Ezekiel. As Negan hasn't appeared yet, it may be a push to suggest that there would be time to introduce Ezekiel in the second half of Season 5 as well, but the show-runners could certainly lay the foundations soon for his eventual appearance, perhaps in conversation with other survivors or even in the form of easter eggs hidden subtly in the background.
