The Walking Dead: 10 Theories About How Season 4 Will End

5. Morgan Jones Returns

One of the best characters from both the comic book and the television series is that of Morgan Jones. Morgan and his son Duane were pivotal in the opening sequences of the show in much the same way as they were in the comic. These two were the first individuals that Rick encountered after awakening from his coma in the hospital, and provided the gateway and necessary exposition about the new, nightmarish world Rick had found himself in. It was a pity that Morgan was virtually forgotten as Rick found his family and a new group of survivors to latch onto as fans were left to contemplate what ever happened to Morgan and his son. Flash forward to season three as Rick and company prepare for the inevitable first showdown with the Governor, and fans quickly learn that Morgan has gone a bit off of his rocker as a result of the death of Duane's death. If there's ever a lock for a character return, it has to be that of Morgan Jones as things were left open ended after his last encounter with Rick. There's a lot of story to still be told in regards to Morgan and his character, and showrunner Scott Gimple has assured fans that though he won't appear this season, he will show up later on down the line. So come the end of season four, fans could once again catch up with Morgan at the Terminus sanctuary. Although Morgan was suffering mentally when Rick bumped into him last, there appeared to be a little bit of hope for his character that he may snap out of the terrible mindset he was in. Seeing Morgan pop up and saving Rick or the group is a very likely and entertaining possibility.
