6. The Reveal That Gabriel Stokes Took Beth

Another character straight from the comics is that of Gabriel Stokes. Stokes is a preacher that sacrificed his whole congregation during the zombie outbreak in order to save his own life and was living inside of the church ever since. When Beth and Daryl stumble upon the mortuary, they notice that it appears to be well stocked with plenty of provisions allowing someone to survive for a long period of time. Is it possible that this is the place that Gabriel has been hiding out? When the mortuary was overrun with walkers and Beth and Daryl were split up, you can notice the crucifix on the back of the black sedan that sped away with a presumed kidnapped Beth inside. At this point we have no idea who was in the black car or whether they took Beth against her own will or not. It's believable that this person was trying to help Beth rather than kidnap her. With Beth's fate undecided up to this point, it's possible that we see her turn up at the end of the season with newly introduced Gabriel and learn about his horrific past and failure of his clergy.
