The Walking Dead: 13 Things That Make No Damn Sense

10. The Water-Drinking Zombie

Walking Dead Zombie Water The Walking Dead features what's generally known as a metric f**k-ton of extras. Of course it does €“ a sense of scale is vital to a show about a zombie apocalypse, and you can't really suss the magnitude of what's going on with just a few blokes tarted up to look like zombies. To the show's credit, they set the stall out early, and emphatically to boot. Come the end of Days Gone Bye, Rick encounter his first super-horde of walkers, a thousand or so former Atlantans just gadding about on a main street. It's shocking, powerful, and there's a very real sense of threat when they overwhelm Rick's horse and force Officer Friendly to hide in a tank. But of course, the other rule with extras is that the more people you involve in a shot, the more likely it is for stuff to go wrong. People might be caught off guard, they might not know filming has started, or they might do something completely antithetical to what they're supposed to be. Case in point the picture above. Now, I love TWD, but I didn't spot this, and I've got to thank whoever found it for putting it on the internet. Just... look at it. It's magnificent, right? If there's one thing a zombie shouldn't be doing, it's imbibing water from a bottle, but lo and behold, there he is, swigging obliviously while Rick bucks on his horse. As mistakes go, it's utterly spectacular.
