The Walking Dead: 25 Coolest Walkers So Far

23. Cuffed Inmate Walker

The first walker on this list to kill a character, the cuffed inmate is the downfall of Big Tiny, not long after the survivors arrive at the prison in season three. Big Tiny is caught in a moment of reflection, thinking about how many times he narrowly avoided death at the gnashers of the undead, only to have a former inmate somehow sneak up on him and snatch for his arm. The walker's cuffed wrists snap, exposing the bone, which then stab Big Tiny in arguably one of the most disgusting walker-related deaths on the show. Rest in peace Big Tiny, we hardly knew ye.

22. Tree Walker

Admittedly this one was largely used to entice audiences to watch the fourth season and isn't seen much on screen after that, but its appearance is disturbing nonetheless. One of the questions asked most frequently about the series is whether or not the walkers can die of starvation, and this particular walker does nothing but tease us on that prospect. We find it lying against a tree, almost entirely covered in moss to the point where it looks like an extension of the plant, but with no visible legs, it seems unable to move. The extremely gaunt appearance of the ribcage suggest it hasn't eaten for a long time too, so whether it could stand once given a hearty, brain-fuelled meal is up for debate.
