The Walking Dead: 5 Characters From The Comics Who Should Be In The TV Show

3. The Hunters

Hunters1 Am I cheating again? It's all semantics. Including just one of these hunting fellows wouldn't work, so like Ben and Billy they come as a package deal. Only, this is one destination you don't want to land yourself in. The 'Beware the Hunters' saga in the comics is one of my favourites. It's dark, brutal, and absolutely terrifying, playing off the most basic of human fears €“ that there is something out there, watching you, stalking you and coming to get you. The gang are on the road, on their way to Washington. They come across Father Stokes and a creepy church, so it's already turned into a horror-cliché of an evening, and the signs aren't looking good. But then they're targeted by the Hunters. Dale (who is still alive by this point!) is taken, and their true motives are revealed €“ they're cannibals. I'm convinced the Hunters will appear in the series, and when they do I hope they make the most of them. They're a deadly group, hunting down other survivors and eating them so they themselves can survive. It's even revealed that they've scoffed up their own children, and if that's not a recipe for some dark plotting, I don't know what is. Dale has the last laugh, however, after they munch on one of his legs, he takes great delight in revealing he's infected. With Dale gone, the series will have to offer up another character to the Hunters to feast on. But still, what a way to go.

Steven feels like a sociopath writing a bio about himself in third person, but it feels kind of nice, and he's sure he'll get used to it.
