With the fourth season of The Walking Dead winding down, viewers can't help but realize that there have been few serious blows to the characters since the devastation of the midseason finale. The time has come for the good guys to start dying again, and even the fates of the most popular are beginning to feel awfully uncertain. After all, this show has a pretty long history of killing off main characters, and everybody is in danger at this point. A finale isn't a finale unless somebody dies horribly. The Walking Dead has actually been fairly indiscriminate in its carnage, killing some characters for the shock value (i.e., T-Dog) and others for legitimate plot reasons (i.e., Hershel). It's therefore pretty much impossible to lay the odds for who will or will not survive. Maggie and Glenn are more or less interchangeable. Tara is a nonentity who happens to have a name. Rosita...exists. Everybody is going to die eventually on this show, and we can't be expected care about all of them. Unfortunately, there are some about whose deaths we would care very much. Whether only recently developed or long-time fan favourites, the second half of the season has managed to give most of the prominent characters a few uncomfortably good reasons why they might be--or even should be--next to die. So, taking into consideration what has aired of Season 4 thus far, here are the top 5 characters who might just be heading off into the great prison in the sky by the final episode.
